Combine 2010 Registration Now Open!
Coach,
Wanted to send you an email to announce registration
for Character Combine 2010 is officially open.
Character Combine will offer a complete day of
impact and influence. Premier speakers will
challenge and motivate your staff and team with
practical tools that teach players how to make
increased character the priority on AND off the
field.
Kevin Bracy returns as one of the highest rated
speaker to ever take the stage the Combine.
With this year's theme,
"Be a
Hero",
Hero Program's Founder Steve Wetzel will host a
valued session!
Have you seen "Blindside: The Movie?" The story
chronicles the Tuohy Family and their impact on the
life of Michael Oher. If you have seen the movie or
read the book, you will have the opportunity to hear
the story first hand. Sean Tuohy will a keynote
featured Combine speaker.
As stated in previous emails, a nominal registration
fee of $5 per person (coach and captian/player of
influence) has been implemented to help off-set the
loss of an annual 10% no show. With a valued
investment of $50 per coach, we are hoping
this discourages coaches from registering for free
but deciding not to attend.
Register today. After April 1st, if the
registration jumps to $10 per attendee.
April 24, 2010

CHARACTER COMBINE REGISTRATION INFO
Coaches
The new
information and new registration tab will be open and
available on FEB 1. It
will remain open until APRIL 1 for registration. With the
economy sagging, we are doing everything to continue to
deliver a top notch program. Many coaches have registered
in the past and then unfortunately did not show up. Each no
show cost money!
We cant
afford the cost of "No Shows," so for the first time
in Combine's history, we will tag a
$5 registration fee
for each attender,
coach or player.
After April 1st, we will
bump it to $10.
It kills me. But at 10% No Show rate, last year cost me a
couple grand in purchased, yet un-needed items.
CHARACTER COMBINE PROGRAM
THE BLIND
SIDE'S, Sean Tuohy
The
father who inspired The Blind Side Story, Sean Tuohy, will
be one of our keynotes. As the adopted-father of Michael
Oehr, his wisdom and world view will help shape our theme
this year, "BE A HERO."
HERO PROGRAM, Steve Wetzel
Steve
Wetzel was awarded last year at the Character Combine for
his roll in putting John Challis in a game. The story moved
the Character Combine crowd to continue to push for results
that impact lives. As if the President of the Hero Program
in Pittsburgh, Steve will tell his story of how he puts
practical sports ethics into his planning and execution.
Kevin
ripped the roof off the place and is coming back for another
round. He is ready to teach practical steps that motivate
all coaches and players to move forward to a bigger goal.
I get to
hold this all together and speak in between, adding valued
encouragement to your overall day.
It
is going to be an incredible day.
Each
coach will get a gift bag, continental breakfast, and
catered lunch. It's all included!
Help me
spread the word that registration begins, FEB 1. Get your
registration in for you and your players in starting FEB 1.
Coaches,
it's gonna be great!
