DIXON HIGH SCHOOL INVITES YOU TO ATTEND OUR ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6 – 8PM
6 – 8PM Dixon High School Sober Grad Night will be selling pizza slices in the quad. Pepperoni or cheese slices $2.50 per slice or $3 with a drink. Gift Basket Raffle, t-shirts and tickets on sale, and donations for decorative boxers for the Boxer Bingo game will be accepted.
§ All Color DHS Yearbooks will be sold in Room H111 for $80. Cash or checks only. § The AVID Club will be selling delicious desserts in the Quad. § DHS Parents Association, and Dixon Schools Athletic Boosters (DSAB) will have an information table with signs ups for those interested in getting involved and activities taking place. § Physics students will be showing off their Marble Madness projects in Room S136, Applied Chemistry students will be displaying their Materials from the Ground UP Interactive Teaching Cubes in S136, Chemistry will be displaying their, Reaction Rate experiment projects in S132, and Physiology will be displaying their Diet project in S127. § DHS Annual Art Showcase - Art Fair, Ceramics, and Multimedia Digital Arts in the Library!!!
6 – 6:45PM Attention All Parents our District is now providing web access to your students’ 7:15 – 8PM information, assignments, and grades with Aeries Parent Portal. Come to Room H110 Anytime from 6-6:45pm and 7:15-8pm and sign up for an account. You will need DHS Student ID#, Telephone #, & an Email Address. You can also set up your account at home. Instructions will be handed out at Open House and mailed with 12 week grades.
6 – 7PM DHS Symphonic Band plays at 6pm and Wind Ensemble plays at 6:30pm inside the Performing Arts Theater.
6:45 – 8PM CLASSROOMS OPEN – Visit with Teachers and See Student Work and Projects.
· Career Tech Education (CTE) Department will be demonstrating and exhibiting various projects in the Ag Classrooms and Shops located in J Building.
NOTE: You should plan on scheduling a parent conference for another time if you want to discuss your child’s progress in detail. The structure of an Open House evening allows neither the time nor the privacy required to have the appropriate conversation.

§ La Asociación de Padres de DHS y Dixon Schools Athletic Boosters (DSAB) tendrá una mesa de información para las personas que gustarían participar en eventos y ayudar nuestra escuela y deportes.
§ Los estudiantes de Física muestrearán sus proyectos de Marble Madness en el Salón S136, Química Aplicada estudiantes estarán desplegando sus materiales de la tierra con cubos interactivos en el salón S136, Química estará desplegando sus, reacción con proyectos de experimento de tipo de cambio en el salón S132 y Fisiología va a mostrar su proyecto de dieta en salón S127.
§ Feria de Arte, Cerámica y Arte Digital en la Biblioteca
6 – 6:45PM Atención padres, nuestro distrito escolar está proporcionando acceso a la información 7:15 – 8PM de sus estudiantes, tareas y calificaciones con Aeries Portal para Padres en el internet. Venga al Salón H110 y registrarse para una cuenta. Usted necesitará el número de Identificación de su Estudiante, # de teléfono, y dirección de correo electrónico.También puede registrarse para una cuenta en casa. Las instrucciones también serán pasadas durante la Casa Abierta y enviadas por correo con los grados de la duodécima semana.
6 – 7PM Grupo de Música tocando en el Teatro.
6:45 – 8PM SALONES ABIERTOS – Visite con los maestros y vea los trabajos de los Estudiantes.
NOTA: Es aconsejable que si gusta una conferencia con un maestro/a, que lo haga para otro tiempo. Durante la Casa Abierta no es el momento apropiado para discutir el progreso de su hijo/a en detalle.
