NFHS Rules apply and can be found on pages 78-79 of the 2004 NFHS Football Rules Handbook.
1st OVERTIME 3 Minute Intermission – Officials review procedure Coin Toss – “O”, “D”, or field Time Outs – 1 per OT + 2nd half remaining timeouts Penalty enforcement – 4th Qtr carryover – Succeeding spot (i.e., 1st & 5 or 1st & 25 ) Defense Interception or Fumble recovery – Play to the whistle
